  I have been waiting until my mom picked up her lamps to give this review. A little background, she bought two lamps on sale in January. They moved into their retirement community in May, so the lamps didn't get used until then. About a month after using them the knobs to turn on stopped turning. They just became locked up. The week prior, my dad, was diagnosed with cancer and after a week of hospital visits and doctors appointments she thought she would just spend this day doing some mindless running around to clear her head. She went back in to Paul Martin Interiors to see if they had any suggestions. She didn't asked to return them, she didn't ask to exchange them, she only wanted to know if they'd heard of this happening before and to see if there was anything they could do to help her with these lamps that have been used for one month. Paul Martin himself was extremely rude and nasty to my mother. He told her "I'll tell you what I'm gonna do for you, nothing,". He told her that when she bought them and left with them that they were working fine. She said well obviously they were or I wouldn't have left with them. He told her that she must have done something to break them. He scolded her, belittled her, and shamed her. A 75-year-old woman who had just spent a week dealing with her husband of 55 years cancer diagnosis. My mom was already walking around in a fog and just left her lamps there dazed and confused. After she told me what he had said I vowed to make it known to everybody what a nasty human being this man is. And my hopes are that nobody will ever shop at his store or use him for any design services again. After having put it on my Facebook the amount of comments I received from other people and their experiences was unbelievable. How is this man still in business?? I have a good friend of mine who told me that a pillow that was supposed to come with the chair she ordered has still never come in. That was a couple years ago and she's given up on even trying to get that pillow even though she called constantly. Please spread the word on this man and his business. And just so everybody knows she did finally get her lamps back. She called after a couple weeks and said she wanted to come pick them up. He told her that they were in his garage and not fixed. She told him that she would give him two days to get them to the store so that she could come pick them up. Thank you for reading my ramble. I am just so upset to think of some man treating my mom this way.
